The website is called Silver Screen Maniacs.com and basically is a new film review site. It's not going to compete with Rotten Tomato, IMDB etc, it's just for people who want a different sort of film review. The Website isn't quite done yet, but my partner says tommorow (1/20/07), it should be completed. But what is needed is writers. Not specifically for the US or UK or anything, just writers who are into films and are willing to see one every week to review. You'd obviously have to send a test one in just to see if it's good enough, but apart from that, not much is needed. So if you have any questions about the site (since I didn't explain it well enough) or if you are interested, post here or email me at my address which is below my Avatar. Can't be bothered to put it here for the world to see

Like New movies or DVDs too Well, since it's not started yet, I'm not 100% if that's in the plan, but if you want to do new DVDs, you're free to do them, I'd guess.

How many people will you need? Right now, the team only consists of two people. Me and the website designer. So more than two would be nice I might be interested.......sounds like fun...... Would you pick the movie, or would we? Since you live in America, you are free to choose the movie. You'd have to put it past someone first so in case we do get over people from the states so they don't see the same film you do. For UK people, you'd have to make sure the film you choose isn't being seen by either me or anyone else on the team. No rules on anything in particular on the films apart from that just as long you are the only one on the team to see it, it's all good.

I can do some reviews if you want, but I live in a part of the world where we get movies a little late.
I can do more obscure cult stuff, though. Just saw "City Of The Living Dead" a few weeks ago, for example.

Do we need to be able to do things like screen captures? Or are you just looking for the writings itself. I think adding pictures really makes movie reviews funny and involved. Take RD's reviews of Santa With Muscles and Mr. Nanny for example.

Take RD's reviews of Santa With Muscles and Mr. Nanny for example. For the latest movies, I'd be difficult and could only use a few pictures like publicity shots, but reviewing the latest DVDs or something, I'd see absolutly no problem with doing that.

I would love to, but I can't possibly see a new movie each week.

I have almost done that sort of thing before, but time constraints prevent me from doing it. However, ifon a limited basis, I would love to!
