The other thread got a bit long, so I'm starting a new one.
For anyone who doesn't know how to do it, basically you just do this:
[image] pic URL [/image] (Replace image with img)
And now you're all set.

Oh Hitman, you messed up...so i'll try it. To post a pic, do this... (img)URL to image goes here(/img) Only replace the ( and ) with [ and ]. ...or you could just click the picture icon above the message box and put the url to the image between the tags. You have to host the image first... Places to host pics... ImageshackPhotobucketImagehighGame ImageEDIT: Oh, I see you fixed it now.

I prefer PhotoBucket, personally. ImageShack has failed me many times.

Photobucket usually screws with my images and makes them really small or when I upload a .gif they get really small AND the colors get screwed up.
Imageshack is usually good for me, don't really have any complaints about it. I would like to be able to upload larger images but i'm with with resizing them (except for .gifs).
Imagehigh is really good...when it works. You don't have a size limit on any thing and you can have huge albums, all for free. The only problems are sometimes you can't delete images from your gallery and i've had a lot of problems logging in before.

I am going to make this very easy for you guys, not because you need it demonstrated so many ways but because not everyone is computer- or internet-savvy. So here goes, let's say it's this picture: First off, you find the picture you want. Right-click on it, and select either "Copy", or "Save picture as...." Step One Be sure you remember where you save the picture to if you decided to save the picture to your hard drive. Remember, some browsers will save pictures only as .bmp files, and these forums will not let you show those. How do you get around that? Continue on to.... The next step has you opening your favorite image-editing software. I highly recommend Irfanview, as you can see here it's what I use myself. From here you will thoughtfully change the dimensions of the picture if it's too huge for the forums to display comfortably. If you saved the picture, load it from the file menu in your imaging program. If you just used "copy", then "paste" it into your imaging program. If you saved the file as a .bmp, now you can use the "Save as..." option in the file menu to alter the file extension to a smaller file size and easier to view .jpg file as seen here. So far you have downloaded or copied the picture you wanted to use and changed it's size and possibly format to make it easily compatible with our forums. Now it's time to host the picture yourself. How can you do that? Go on over to www.imageshack.us for the next step. Once there, click their Browse button and navigate to find your edited file where you saved it (remember, you want the file after you altered iif alterations were necessary, the .bmp will not show on the forums). After you select it, click "Host it", and the picture will be uploaded. The next webpage once you upload the picture will give you the address you'll need to remember for when you want to show us all the picture. You can see where it will be here. Notice the direct link to the image, highlight the address and Copy it (by right-clicking on the selected text or pressing ctrl+c on your keyboard). Now, come to the forums and remember your tags for showing an image. They are the open bracket ([) and the end bracket (]) with the IMG opening tag and /IMG ending tag, as seen here in the highlighted text. I hope this helped some people.

Does anyone know what the "Not resized" limit is for sigs? I've been trying to work it out, and it's annoying me.
