So last night I went to sleep at 4 am after watching Team America world police
Then woke up at 12, took a whiz and went back to sleep
woke up at 2 pm took a whiz and read a page of a book and went to sleep
then woke up at 4 pm
Which scares me. I damn near slept 12 hours. I have been working my ass off in the gym more then usual but I've never slept freaking 12 hours.
Anyone have this happen or know why this could happen?

Happened to me last week and I assumed mine was gym related aswell. Although I'd been kicked repeatedly in the head a few days before so it could have been that.

its probably just your body getting the rest it needed. this is coming from a girl that sleeps 7-10 hours a night though...

How much sleep did you get the night before?
The above happened to me right around the last weekend of February, when I was working the local gaming convention. I was there til about 11:15 that night, but didn't get to sleep until ~1:30 a.m. I woke up at roughly 6:00 the same morning since I had to work the opening shift of that day. I didn't get back to my dorm room until about 10:00 that night. Then I crashed, and was asleep for the next 12 hours.

I've only done it a few times, and it's usually after pushing myself for a while and not getting a whole lot of sleep. If you've been working out a lot, then your body probably just needed rest. If it keeps up then you want to try to get it checked out.

I don't sleep that much. I pop down for anywhere from four to maybe seven hours usually. I have slept for that long before and it's weird. You sleep so long it makes you sleepy or something. You get that foggy head thing going on and it's hard to get moving.

12 hours you say? I call those days "Monday". Of course, fo rme, Monday is my first day off, and I generally get between 4 and 6 hours of sleep from when I wake up on Friday to when I get off work Monday morning.

12 hours is nothing when you are sick.
