One thing that really irks me is people on file sharing systems who have the wrong artists for songs.
Let's clear things up for them now.
1) There were metal bands in the 80's besides Poison and Bon Jovi. (Seriously, do a search for any hair metal song title, and whether or not it's actually by them at least one will come back with one of these two as the artist.)
2) Not every power ballad is by Journey!!!!!!! Sister Christian? NOT BY JOURNEY! I Just Died In Your Ams Tonight? NOT BY JOURNEY! Take Me Home Tonight? NOT BY JOURNEY!!!
3) not every song parody is by "Weird Al" Yankovic! and for god's sake if you're gonna mislabel something as being by him, at least spell the man's name right!

These are probably the same people who spell Flexy Lexy's name "Lugar" and Mr Perfect's name "Henning."

Gorillaz. There's no "The" in there anywhere. It's just Gorillaz. Also, there's no apostrophe in "Linkin" and Three 6 Mafia is spelled like that. Not 3-6 Mafia. Not Three Six Mafia. Three 6 Mafia.

um, why not just use Amazon to find out the songs that you like, their artists and what album it comes out on.... then copy and paste into the file sharing program/iTunes or whatever?
That way you get exactly what you want.

I would love to know what set this rant off. I was searching for a Guns N Roses song on LimeWire and on of the files the search returned was titled "Novermber Rain- Bon Jovi". That's what set it off. |
