I got a Deluxe Aggression CM Punk figure yesterday, and I was pleased to find that he actually had all of sleeve tattoos with the exception of the Pepsi logo and the Cobra logo (but the joint for the articulation in the shoulder is pretty large and would've messed up the designs anyway, no big loss), now, I can understand leaving those off, but I couldn't help but notice that he has his Rosie the Riveter tat, and it's actually printed JUST LIKE she should look, rather than knockoff Pepsi/Cobra logos on the normal release figure.
Long story short, I was kind of wondering, shouldn't Rosie belong to someone all the same too? Surely an image as famous as that is copyrighted and owned by SOMEONE out there, or is she just like, public domain now?
I know it's a silly query but I'm honestly kinda curious about this.

Honestly I think Rosie the Riveter is public domain now...I mean she's in every history book you could possibly imagine...not to mention I've seen her on TV a million times, in stuff not even related to history or anything.
I'm pretty sure it's public domain anymore.

It's definitely Rosie, and below her image is a banner that says "There Is A War".
