This ain't a poll as I'd leave out far too many good candidates, but just curious who is your favorite cinematic coach?
Al Pacino from Any Given Sunday? Maybe Hackman from Hoosiers? How bout Henry Winkler as Coach Klien? Jon Voight as Bud Kilmer? Denzel Washington as Herman Boone? Any of the other many movie coaches?
Who's callin signals for your squad?
Did you notice ever sentence in this thread was a question? Do you believe I never planned it that way? Should I invest in some green tights and try and confound the caped crusader? Would I look good in said tights? Can anyone keep the thread ontopic with this last paragraph being so out there?

Mike Bassett: England Manager (Ricky Tomlinson) in the U.K comedy film of the same name.
Oh the film is about getting England to the FIFA World Cup.

And I've always loved Tom Hanks' character in A League of Their Own. "Wow. Avoid the clap... Jimmy Dugan". And who can forget scratching his balls for an hour in the 7th Inning.
