It was weird, since I saw her running around Friday afternoon when I was walking back from Subway with lunch. She was following me on the sidewalk a ways and in the corner of our yard. I ran the food inside because my sister was watching the nephews and went out to find the puppy, but she had disappeared (I'm guessing into one of the neighbor's yards.)
Anyway, today my sister's cat was at the window since he likes looking at birds, squirrels, chipmunks and his fat old groundhog when my sister said he was watching a puppy outside. I ran out and it was the same one.
I made a few calls, but no luck.
I still can't believe it, just a little baby puppy, probably 10 weeks old max. No collar. She's a chocolate lab with a little white patch right below her neck and a little bit of white on her paws. If noone claims her, the three cats we have are not going to be happy. She's chasing the boy cats around trying to play with them and the female cat we have we got from a couple who were expecting a baby and had a bunch of dogs and they said she didn't like them and used to slap them around.
I picked her up some food but I'm gonna have to go find her a collar and a leash. I'm calling her Dutchess/Dutchie right now.
But yeah... anyone else have this happen? I found a puppy before at my old house, but there was snow still on the ground, so I just followed its tracks to the neighbors and brought him home.
Then one night at my friend's, a German Shephard showed up. My friend and his parents took care of it and put up signs. They got a call from people saying they found the dog but it kept breaking out of their porch, so my friend adopted it.
