My beloved Fightin' Philadelphia Phillies have become the FIRST team in the entire world history of professional sports to lose 10,000 games!!!!!
Keep your championships!!!! No one can take this away from us!!! Mike Williams!!! Lance Parrish!!! Freddy Garcia!!!!! One winning season in thirty years in the first half of the 20th century!!! We couldn't do it without you!!!

I've often contemplated what will happen if we actually win a championship here. Maybe the wives will punch the husbands out for a change....

Congrats to all the crappy owners and players in the Phillies 125 year history. Without you guys, 10,000 losses wouldn't be possible! With that said, let's make the playoffs this year!!!

Let they still one the World Series in 1980 and the National League Championship in 1983 and 1993. So really it's not like they've been like constantly pathetic. I mean other than those years, and the Whiz Kids team and the 78 division title team they have. Still other than 64 they haven't had a year were they were close and then lost it. Still congrats Phillies.

I'd like to point out....I WAS THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's right I got to see the Phillies make history....very pathetic history...
Just think, a team would have to average 100 losses over 100 years just to match what we've done. We've taken suck to a whole nother level.

Well, I guess the Braves are next. They have 9,681 losses.

I've often contemplated what will happen if we actually win a championship here. Maybe the wives will punch the husbands out for a change.... The city would burn to the ground. I'm not joking. There's 24 years of built up frustration of no championship. Plus the fans have been on the wrong end of jokes, ridicule and harassment for years, regardless of how good or bad the teams are. When someone finally wins (esp. the Eagles or Phillies) the city will riot so bad it would make Rodney King look like a mild block party.

I'd imagine someone, somewhere...probably from South Philly, though possibly the Northeast....will attempt to ring the Liberty Bell when we finally win the big one.
