Im on Wii, just started the game, and i cant f***ing catch a fish! i put it in the water near the cat, i watch the bobber go up and down, and when it does, i pull up and its just en empty hook! I've spent 15 mins trying to catch a fish and no luck at all. Is there something someones not telling me?

It's so simple, I spent hours on it til I figured it out.
Put it in the water, hold your wiimote towards the screen and lower it forward so the wiimote is facing the screen but going downward, once the green part submerges pull the wiimote up and just leave it up, like pull it like you'd pull back a fishing rod but just leave it and it becomes incredibly simple

Yeah, it is very simple, I got it my first try. But yeah, do what PKS said, and when you begin reeling in the fish, spin that nunchuk like your life depended on catching that fish.

You take the game back to the store because it sucks, that's how.

I like trying to catch the different fish. I never had problems with it, but it was kind of confusing to try and follow what it said at first.

He's just doing a bobber. You still have to reel it in. Not for the bobber, you don't use the nunchuk at all, just leaving it pulled back reels it in.

Oh what the f***?! When I had to catch my first fish I had to manually reel it in! Man that bobber is a cheap way out in the beginning.

Yeah the reeling is only for lure fishing, not bobber fishing.

What kind of BS is that? How the hell can you tell which kind of pole you are using? I'm asking this, because the reel pole also has a bobber on it.............

Aw man.....that's weak......one of the big selling points for the Wii TP was you get full motion sensing fishing, and several gameplay videos showed the lure pole being used to fish on Lake Hylia........has Nintendo done lied to me? Note, I haven't tried fishing since the moment I really needed to.
