Bob Ross is the MAN. He could dab that canvas with a paintbrush and make a perfect bunny.
Does anyone remember the other painting guy from PBS that would scream with a German accent?

That guy scared the crap out of me as a child. Oh, and Bob Ross was indeed the man. One of my favorite things when I was very little was the theme music to the Joy of Painting. I actually went and got a tape recorder and held it up to the TV so I could have the music whenever I wanted.

I ran master control at PBS for seven years, and I still watch Bob Ross at home just because I miss him so much.

Random bit of info:
One of the major PBS stations at home, WIPB (out of Muncie, Indiana) was the original home of The Joy of Painting.

Is this show on TV? Because I've never seen it, but now I want to. It was an old painting instructional show on PBS. (not like you could touch Bob with your skills) www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3ZKoxbQRu8

Bob Ross was awesome. It was near Zen like just watchin him paint. If there was ever a dude that just seemed happy to be alive and doing what he was doing. It was him.

I can't wait for the Painting with Bob Ross game to come out for the Wii. I'm not kidding, there is a Bob Ross painting game coming to the Wii.

Sometimes I wonder if he had been drinking some of that paint thinner before the shows. Some of the stuff he said made me ask "What the f*** is he talking about?"
