I played Super more. I think I prefer Super. There's just something so rewarding about punching a clown in the face.

Super was easier. I got it beat, but never made it past Mr. Sandman on the NES one (I had already racked up enough losses getting there, and so I'd do ALL that for ONE shot at Sandman...though by way of passwords I HAVE beaten Don Flamenco after that and Super Macho Man...yet to beat Mr. Dream (never got to Tyson when we had it)).
I'd have to give it to Super. The only thing it lacked to me was Don Flamenco. Plus, Snitsky, I mean Rick Bruiser was enough difficulty to me. Kindof disappointed Nick was easier though. Plus, Narcis Prince was fun to beat up, just seeing him pissed off.
Oh, and always wondering what Dragon Chan's manager was saying, since he spoke in kanji.
Though I am not that nostalgic either, unless a game truly has yet to build on a past great. Super Mario Bros.? Give me SMB 3, World, World 2, 64, New SMB, or Super Paper over it anyday.
Theres alot of old school games that just suck now if people tried them instead of insisting on memories. Metroid on the NES is flat out terrible. Ice Climbers might be one of the worst NES games I have played. Zelda 2, underrated? Theres a reason its considered the worst, play it again, then put in the first and see why.

The one that had Mike Tyson, not the one with generic evil bald boxer, who looked remarkably like the boxer who came right before him. It's been a while since I've played it, but I'm pretty sure the two bald dudes were supposed to be twin brothers. Rick and Nick Bruiser, respectively. Snitsky looks like Rick now...credit to whoever first posted that on here...dont remember who...

Mike Tyson's all the way. The Mr. Dream version is alright but It's missing one of the greatest opening screens in the world

Irrelevant side note: I always thought Heike Kagero was a cool name. If I ever move to Japan, that's what Im changing my name to.

Ready 2 Rumble boxing was fun too.
But then, my love for Mike Tyson's Punchout!! is well known round here, so any topic that brings it up, or any video game topic is gonna know which side I'm votin on.

I have to also wonder what's with the lack of love for the 2 arcade games.

The original with Mike Tyson is one of my all-time favorite video games. Even if it did lead to 3 broken NES controllers.
