I went to my local Best Buy yesterday with no actual intent on buying anything, and then I came across the Nightmare on Elm Street collection (which I had just seen at the mall for 99.99) I picked it up to check the price and it was only 45.99. Couldn't pass that up, then I found a ton of other stuff such as Orgazmo for 8.99, Raising Arizona for 8.99, Requim for a Dream and Pi for 14.99, and Heroes of World Class Wrestling for 14.99, ended up spending 114.99, when I didn't want to spend anything at all.

That's odd.
I've know Best Buy to always be the most expensive.

That's odd. I've know Best Buy to always be the most expensive. Not on their movies. When they have their DVD sales, they price them around 5-10 dollars.

if you go on the day a dvd is released it's like $5 cheaper. plus they usually have some good movies at discount.
but yeah, i wouldn't go there for much else. plus their stores are very inconsistent. some are great, some are awful.

Our Best Buy is horrible, I avoid at all costs, Moviestop usually has better deals anyhow.

The Best Buy near me blows chunks. Drive an hour to get there and get treated like shit by their clerks. Also their 'deals' stink. I can buy this joystick I want from Wal*Mart's online store for $10 cheaper than I could at Best Buy, and that's including shipping & handling!

My Best Buy is a great place for computers. If you have ANY questions, you talk to the MORPG players (and yes, they are staff). If there is ANYTHING about antivirus, computer performance, or gaming, at least one of them knows.

Good CD prices at my local Best Buy. I got Ghostface Killah's awesome "Fishscale" album for SEVEN BUCKS the week it came out. Also picked up Season 3 of Deadwood for 50 bucks the day it came out (compared to HBO's usual 100 list price)

As long as you didn't ask employees for help such idiots i ask them for nothing. when an employee tells me full screen dvds are no longer with us or when a member of the geek squad has to call me for a problem and i cant get a job at best buy, then something is afoot at the circle k

You know what else rocks? Hastings. The people at mine know NOTHING about wrestling, and I reap the benifits. Like today, I saw the horsemen set, and noticed it had the wrong price sticker on it(it had the HBK:Boyhood dream sticker on it). I took it up to get checked out.
Wanna know how much it costed? $7.99! Thats right, with tax, I got the new 4 horsemen set for under $9.

Plus the fact that the one near me hired some of the biggest assholes ever, i thought the whole point of that ruthless personality test was to root out those people? Oh wait, everybody lies.
