Scorpions "lair" was also pretty cool looking, it made that fight even more interesting.
Watching it today was just as enjoyable as the first time I saw it in the first time at the movies all those years ago, something about it "clicks" well with me. It gets the basics of the MK story line really well, while keeping it as it's own stand alone movie, that seems really hard with Video Game to Movie translations.
