Marked for Death is my favorite with Out for Justice coming second.
The killing in Marked for Death is top notch. He does make use of sledge and kills two guys with it. That one silly goon tries to get the jump on him and he just kicks his leg and breaks it.

I've been watching a lot of Steven Seagal movies lately. I know they're universally considered horrible, but they're so over-the-top in their violence that I love them. For instance, this scene in Hard to Kill, when he annihilates a group of bad guys in a liquor store manned by Al Yankovic's Uncle Harvey. He destroys those guys and proceeds to snap a guy's ankle. youtube.com/ watch?v=dzL-4tudgPk [remove space] One of my favorite clips of mine is from Exit Wounds, when he takes out some guys trying to break into his truck. youtube.com/ watch?v=cyVMgCtlo5A [remove space] I finished The Glimmer Man today, and it's just as amazing. The following scene should be a reminder to buy a credit card with a razor blade attached to it, just in case you meet any Russians. youtube.com/ watch?v=ZK7pDWWEDC8 [remove space] Go rent a Steven Seagal movie ... you won't be disappointed! In his early days, Seagal was cool. Look at his first few movies: ABOVE THE LAW (shot by Andrew Davis), HARD TO KILL, OUT FOR JUSTICE....all good action-junk movies. But UNDER SIEGE, the one Seagal movie thats not only undisputedly very good, regardless of Flabby Seagull's involvement or not, it actually uses Seagal for cool purposes. Unfortunately, UNDER SIEGE was Seagal's career peak, and like T2 was for Arnold, Seagal's downfall began soon afterwards. Look at ON DEADLY GROUND. Seagal's "Saving the Environment Using Fists & Guns" fiasco where Seagal directed, produced, and starred.........totally sucked. Then his legendary 5-minute cameo in EXECUTIVE DECISION before getting sucked out, the lame UNDER SIEGE 2, GLIMMER MAN sucked it hard, the direct-to-DVD crapper THE PATRIOT, and Hack Autuer Albert Pyun's TICKER....pathetic. Seagal once was cool, when he was thin, not a bloated mess, and when before his calm demeanor before fights became a joke. At least he was in more good action pictures than Van Damm.

ok, not to sound like I am starting anything but you thoght GLIMMER MAN was "amazing?" I know in movies we are supposed to have some suspension of disbelief but the apartment blows up and all that survives is the pocket planner in the middle of a burnt coffee table in the middle of the apartment (everything else on it is destroyed) that had the address of the prime suspect and a reciept for the running "joke" of (some sort of animal) penis. I'll take old school John Woo movies for over the top violence. Final shoot out in THE KILLER was simply, "lets just send more people in so we can have a higher body count. 900 dead bodies just isn't enough" But to each his own Well, GLIMMER MAN lost me when Wayans' character is revealed to be a CASABLANCA nerd (I mean, who is this hack scripter think he is, Shane Black?!?!) Something absolutely silly about that. Anyway, John Woo was never the same once he came to America (though I liked FACE/OFF, but damn its peanuts compared to say THE KILLER).

Too bad Steven Segal doesnt go out in style, but wants to ride it out like Ric Flair. Too many monthly direct to DVD movies.

And worse, Seagal is starting to make movies that even his usual Direct-to-DVD distributors want nothing to do with. Uh Oh. It should be noted that Seagal was offered the baddie part for RUSH HOUR 3. I'm sure his ego turned it down, but it would have been fun (though the logistics nightmare of making Seagal's fatass believable in a fight with old man Chan)

Jim Kelly said he was fighting for a part that eventually got offered to Seagal back in 2003. I love Jim Kelly's stuff but it says a lot about how far he's fallen if he's getting beaten by Seagal for movie parts

I still think there should be an action movie filled with all the great action movie legends. Imagine Schwarzenegger, Seagal, Van Damme, Norris, Stallone and more fighting throughout an entire city, then again the amount of damage that would cause would be ridiculous.

Well, Schwarzenegger/Stallone/Willis were booked for SGT. ROCK before those 3 "friends" decided to go to greener pastures and more sequels. John McTiernan was attached to direct, and Shane Black John Milius* wrote a script draft of it. That would have been awesome. Willis or Sly (can't remember) as Sgt. Rock, and Arnold as the bad guy Nazi. *=That would have been awesomely insane.

Seagal is a greasy, thick-skulled pseudo environmentalist mumbler.
The only redeeming film of his had Erika Eleniak topless coming out of a cake.
