does anyone else have problems waking up? Ever since I was little I have had this problem of NOT being able to wake up easily. Waking up for school at 7am for 13 years was horrible!
Now I have to wake up at 10am everyday which isn't even really that early and Its still like waking up at 5am! People say go to bed earlier or get more sleep but im ususally asleep by 1am! That is 9 hours of sleep everynight and its still feels like I didnt sleep at all!
Anybody else have this problem or any reccomendations about ways to get up easier? I swear I could sleep till like 2pm everyday.

Honestly, I don't think you're getting all this sleep you're saying. My problem is that I wake up every hour at least.
Buy a better mattress. I'd get a new one, as I'm sure that's my problem, but I'm poor.

Sleep Inertia.
Google it.
But it's essential that whole "I don't wanna get up!" feeling. It can linger for varying amounts of time.
I get regularly smacked by it.

1AM is late to go to bed, even if you gotta wake up at 10. I'm lucky I can sleep anywhere and wake up anytime I want, but not everyone that lucky. You just gotta change and go to sleep earlier. Your body wants more sleep so you gotta give it that.

i have huge problems waking up. i can get 4 hours of sleep, or 10 hours of sleep, i'll still be dead tired for the rest of the day. it could be the amount of iron you're lacking too...

i have a somewhat similiar problem. i sleep too much. i have no problem sleeping for 12 hours straight. When I used to work, I would usually get 5-6 hours of sleep a night, and more or less play catch up on sleep in the weekends. which can be ok, if you`re then prepared for 3-4 hours of sleep from sunday to monday. but if you have a hard time just like getting out of bed, I do not recommend that method.

Being without a job or school, I used to set my own hours and sometimes get 14 hours of sleep.

The best part of waking up is Folgers in my cup.
Then again, I don't drink Folgers, or any other coffee really.
I don't have a problem waking up, myself; but I do have a problem sleeping. Bleh.

Maybe get a coffee maker put it in your room set it on timer to start around when you wake up and drink that? Coffee can help start day.

I usually end up sleeping late no matter what time I go to sleep. Prolly cause I wake up like every 30 mins then finally fall asleep for a while in the morning...

I have problems oversleeping.
I remember last semester in college I was studying for a big test scheduled for the next day. I was feeling pretty tired, and felt that I'd studied enough, so I decided to set my alarm and call it a night at around midnight.
Needless to say, I slept through my 10:00a alarm... all the way to a little after 4:00p. I had slept for, and I kid you not, about 16 hours straight, and I missed my exam by quite a bit.
Actually, last semester, I can count multiple times that I slept past the 12 hour mark. I really should get that looked at.
