Just horrible news. Horrible. But the outpouring of respect from all over the comic world - Waid, Dezago, PAD, Ellis, Hamner, Liefeld and hundreds upon hundreds of fans - reminds us of how great and beloved he was both in the fanbase and amongst creators of all kinds.

Why was this locked? I looked for other threads on it and didn't see them. People can lock your threads? Damn I wouldn't take that! But RIP to the guy, don't think I was a big fan of his, hard to remember.

Really liked his style on Fantastic Four, especially the mood he brought to the Human Torch/Thing and Torch/Spidey interactions. So light-hearted and wonderful.

This is a total shock. Ringo was one of my favorite artists, probably had one of the most unique art styles, an incredible blend of anime and cartoon style that still looked realistic at times.
Such a tragic loss. As a coworker of yours, my condolences go out to you, Madison, and to his family.
RIP.
On a side note, this has been one shitty year for loss.

I remember his art from Impulse, Flash, Spider-Man, Tellos... He was a great storyteller.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Wieringo...
(he was only 44? Damn...)
