Why is The Cable guy never on TV? TBS plays it like once a year at 1 in the morning. Every other Jim Carrey movie gets played...

Larry the Cable Guy?
People got sick of him, and he was just one of those fad comedians kids like for a week and then get sick of.

It was a dark comedy that a lot of people didn't get at the time. I loved it, and wish it was on more. www.imdb.com/title/tt0115798/

It starred Jim Carrey, Jack Black, and Matthew Broderick. I think it's $3 at circuit city this week.

I LOVE the Cable Guy. Everyone talked about how it was the worst Jim Carrey movie of his "hot" period there. smurf that! Your talking about an era that contains the f***in Truman Show! One of the worst movies Ive ever paid to see. But it was (almost) my favorite (I love Dumb and Dumber to much). It is an awesome movie. I got it on DVD for like $6 at Target a few years ago. If you think you are going to find more GOLD then Jim Carrey's Jefferson Airplane karoke session, you are sadly mistaken.

"Don't you want thumbuddy to loooove.....Don't you need thumbuddy to lu-uhhhhhhhve!" I love how he kept his lisp in there....that IS a great scene.

Didn't Ben Stiller direct it? Yes sir. He had a cameo in the beginning, mocking the Menedez Brothers.

Every time this film is brought up I must bring out my favorite quote from said movie, "Hey, what's the story with our chicken, man?". He also goes on about eggs and crap, but the chicken bit has been with me since I saw it at theater.

My favorite line is near the end when Jim Carrey falls on the satellite thing and breaks it, then you see this guy watching with his friends and he goes:
"PREFERED CUSTOMER MY ASS!"

My favorite was Eric Roberts starring as the Ben Stiller characters in the T.V. movie of the trial. "Sammy no! No, Sammy...no."

Oh my God! Oh my God! My twin brother has been shot! I think it was an Asian gang or something... There was this guy, he looked Asian... and he was speaking another language, I'm pretty sure it was... Asian!
