If ESPN Classic started doing this again (and my cable provider would pick it back up god dammit) I'd be inclined to start watching again.

I remember those. Pretty awesome. Those aired about a year after the show was canceled from Sci-fi, I think
Im not positive, but I think Best Brains could have sued them for using shadowrama and the bots if they wanted to

You can keep your Marvel Vs. DC. THIS was the greatest crossover ever!

The trio of Garvey, Floorwax, and Earl from Toshiba will never be matched.

The trio of Garvey, Floorwax, and Earl from Toshiba will never be matched. Anytime they ragged on Garvey it was great. Remember, Steve Garvey is the least funny man, ever.

I still have this one saved on TiVo! I also have the Garvey specials, Radical Outdoor Challenge (by FAR my favorite), and as many of the Spelling Bees as I could find...oh, and the two "On the Road" specials, the first where they go to a "contest winners house" and watch wrestling ("Thuh Macho Man is available for Bar Mitzvahs and Sweet Sixteen's UGH YEAH!") and the second where they try to save the old Busch Stadium...by merging the two stadiums and using the new Busch stadium as a gigantic ass left field.

Best Brains was effectively a defunct company by that point, their studios and production offices having been shut down for about a year.
Besides, no one person owned the production company. Joel Hodgson was long gone and while most of the production probably fell with Jim Mallon, he didn't own Best Brains by himself. Since you had Corbett, Nelson, and Murphy participating in that, I doubt anyone was going to sue.

Im not positive, but I think Best Brains could have sued them for using shadowrama and the bots if they wanted to There was a disclaimer right at the end. "MST3K characters and likenesses courtesy of Best Brains Inc." So suing woulda been kinda dumb, yeah.

I was so pissed when I learned they were canceling the show, finishing it off, whatever. The SUPER FINALE' was awesome, though.

If ESPN Classic started doing this again (and my cable provider would pick it back up god dammit) I'd be inclined to start watching again. It's kind of a moot point though, considering they cancelled "Cheap Seats" :-( (And, once again, I hit "Quote" too soon, so I didn't read if anyone else aready pointed this out )

That's one of the things I liked most about the show; their use of NY-area comics like Glaser, Jon Benjamin, Pat Borelli, Eugene Mirman, and the immortal Michael Showalter.
