I hate Westerns, usually, but I love Christian Bale. It looks good.

Sweet, I may check that out. But I love a cool Western- hence my well known affection for Tombstone, and this looks quite cool.

I see the commercials and just start singing Johnny Cash. So the flick has that going for it.

Sweet, I may check that out. But I love a cool Western- hence my well known affection for Tombstone, and this looks quite cool. Well, I think it should be good. Early reviews are hot, and the Oscar Buzz train is rapid-fast at the moment. Hell, a Supporting Actor nod for Peter Fonda* and an Best Actor nod for Russell Crowe are what I keep hearing people who play that Oscar nonsense for fun tell me. Yet Christian Bale isn't mentioned. He's getting Pacino-snubbed here! Plus, director James Mangold seems to always get the best from his actors in his good movies (COP LAND, WALK THE LINE) and his flicks that don't work (IDENTITY, KATE & LEOPOLD) so with Bale/Crowe......bitchin. *=People tell me its a rather short part, but hey he rules, and I mean look at Alan Alda. He doesn't do much in AVIATOR, got an Oscar nod because he was old and people liked him.
