I live in Kansas as well.
And I despise the Jayhawks. Around Kansas, that's not really liked.

I like the Jayhawks. And yes, I have been a lifelong resident of Kansas. As dude said, that will change in about a month. I grew up in Park City (home of BTK), moved to Wichita (home of no casinos), moved to Derby (recently ranked by Family Circle as "one of the top ten places to raise a family in the U.S." : and am now back in Park City for the next month or so. Nuts how things come full circle.

Wichita.
It's not EXTREMELY interesting, but it is far more interesting than Independence, to say the least.

Wichita. It's not EXTREMELY interesting, but it is far more interesting than Independence, to say the least. When you're old enough to drink (unless you already are) you must go to Kirbys, the greatest hole in the wall bar in Wichita. www.kirbysbeerstore.com/When they have bands it gets too crowded and smokey though.

p.s.
look for me in the Central Star Credit Union commercial that airs on the Kansas CW (Channel 5 for those in the Wichita area).
If anyone knows how to record it and upload it to YouTube...I'd be extremely and incredibly greatful.

I was born and raised in Wichita. I lived there for 22 of my 23 years. I worked produce at the 31st & Seneca Dillons for the longest time, until seven months ago when I moved to Seattle. I'm better off for it, to say the least.
