80s rocked, 90s did too, 00s have been lacklustre.

More 90s because that's when I grew up but I like 80s stuff that I've come to know from either repeats when I was a kid or through word of mouth.

The 1980s was such an awesome decade. So much great television, music, movies, cartoons, and of course, the NES. The 1990s were alright, but I much more prefer the 1980s.

I'm talking about crap like Dexy's Midnight Runners, A-ha, Men Without Hats, Men at Work, Toni Basil, and all the other typical '80s' groups

I think nostalgia has a way of making you forget all the crap and only highlight the great stuff, especially if you were young and growing up in the era. When I watch cartoons like He-Man, I know it's not that great, but I remember watching it as a kid and acting it out with my He-Man Sword with Lightning Sound Effects. For me personally, it's remembering the time, not the show.
However, I'm sure if you were a kid growin up in the 00's, you'd look back in 2027 and remember all the great stuff and conveniently block out all the crap.

I mark for the 90s because I was born with only like 140 days left in 1989.

I have a friend who's having an 80s-themed birthday party next week, and I'm not sure of what to wear. All I've thought of so far is growing out a mustache, but I can't really grow a proper one.

Actually, I could probably just go with the Don Johnson "Miami Vice" look.
