From Comics 101's TV recommendations:
TMZ -- check local How did TV manage to find a way to make me think Pat O'Brien isn't the most pathetic creature hosting the most pathetic show currently airing? I'll tell you how--by offering up this terrible piece o'dreck, with its grainy video and bad audio and worse writing and uninteresting gossip. Wow, take the worst part of, well, TMZ.com, and film it, and you've got... utter, utter crap.
On another note just underneath that listing: DANCING WITH THE STARS -- 8 PM, ABC Jennie Garth, Wayne Newton, the Spice Girl that Eddie Murphy knocked up... yep, this is the current definition of "Stars" according to this show. Evidently Captain Lou Albano was busy (well, deceased, anyway, but still)
Captain Lou is dead? I don't think so
Edit: And then I saw this: SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE -- 11:30 PM, NBC Season Premiere: Hey, it's time for more SNL. So to come out of the gate really strong, it seems imperative to lead off with a really solid actor or comedian who can help give the show an initial kick. Yep, that's right, tonight's host is... NBA baller LeBron James? Hey, Lorne, you still on summer vacation?
When will Lorne learn SNL with athletes is comedy death?

You obviously never saw Michael Jordan in the Stuart Smalley skit, or the Charles Barkley vs Barney skit, during Barkley's monologue.

Usually my vote for worst TV show of year usually goes to the CW. They won the award again this year with "Aliens in America".

I don't think so Reminds of the Daily Show last week [Clip of George Bush saying]: People ask, "Where's Mandella?" Well, Mandella's DEAD!" Cut back to Jon making phony call to Mandella, who sounds like an adult on the Peanuts cartoon.

What about Lord of the Flies Kid Nation?
Or that one on the CW network about a midwest family that has to take care of an arab boy? AND THEY'RE RACIST! HILARITY ABOUNDS!

But she's on HEROES now Edit: The "Rolleyes Smiley" isn't for the show HEROES, just the fact that people like Kristin Veitch (the E! TV Critic) are heralding it as the greatest move ever, without taking into consideration that not everyone has been watching it up to this point.

CAVEMEN and KID NATION are the worse ideas ever. CW isn't THAT bad this year. REAPER looks like it could be a goofy, fun ride. And critics are actually being kind to ALIENS IN AMERICA. I think that might be one of those that on paper looks like a bad idea and the teaser trailers are moanworthy, but it could be good.

Manning was good last season The stuff with him playing with underpriviledged kids, knocking them over with passes, and chewing them out for missing plays cracked me up. Also, Joe Montana and Wayne Gretzsky's shows were pretty funny back in the day.
