Just thought it'd be something to ask, considering the huge influx of websites over the last few years.
Personally, for me, it's Gametrailers. It used to be just a trailer site, but now it's come onto it's own, with it's own collection of programming and, of course, ScrewAttack providing comedy, it's just a really good website. But I still go to IGN for Film and TV news, which is strange considering it used to be the site to go for me.

Gametrailers. Not only does it have ScrewAttack, it also has GameHead. Honestly, what other site has its own tv show?
Gamespot USE to have one, called Gamespot TV, which eventually warped into what we now call X-Play....Adam Sessler hosted Gamespot TV as well.

I'm still a big supporter of 1up.com.
They have a lot of inside connections and are the same people that run EGM, so it's pretty reliable for news. Plus they're pretty fair in their reviews.

Ugh all the video game sites tend to really suck. Either the sites themselves run really crappy or they offer crappy opinions. f*** them.

IGN is my website of choice. I don't always agree with some of their reviews (they are opinions, after all), but the majority of them are very informative and all their previews, news-breaks, and features are kickass.

I agree. 1up has given me much joy, knowledge, and general happiness in life. Although every time I see a review by Andrew Pfster I cry, because of how much I loved GMR. Even if it lasted about two issues.

IGN is like the official video game site. Gamespot is cool too.

I will state that I don't believe ANY scores from any gaming website or magazine. I only use them for news and previews. I let myself do the reviewing.

If you're looking for news on censorship, game legislation, Jack Thompson, etc., I recommend www.gamepolitics.com

If it just comes to news, I've been using joystiq.com for a while now. It's really well written and they update themselves pretty frequently. Plus they're one of the best for looking for new online game comics with their weekly poll for best online comic for the week.
