New Stage: Smashville (Animal Crossing Stage) Wait a second... Is this...an Animal Crossing stage?! And the name...well... Go ahead and poke fun if you must. This should be a familiar sight to Animal Crossing fans. It’s very clearly the world of Animal Crossing—even the changing scenery of day and night is determined by the Wii’s internal clock.

I apologize for the late update. My parents put a parental control lock on my little bro and somehow it messed with everyone else's account, but now I think we got it fixed, so I will try to get back to updating.
Thanks to Celsius for keeping this thing up in the meantime...dang, you get on there early bro.

Today was just a soundtrack update (for the Star Fox level), nothing super wonderful.
I'm not updating the news post, and I kindof can't put it up here, so go to the main site if you HAVE to hear it.
I can't at the moment since I am rolling dialup here, but I am going to school here in an hour or two so I can hear it then.

Sweet!!! 1000 views...even though it turns out I'M #1000...kindof bittersweet.
Anyway, new info on Samus' Final Smash is up on the main post.

The most interesting and awesome thing about Samus' Final Smash is you get to throw the pieces of her power suit that scatter over the stage.

Here is my theory, the characters this time realize that they are trophies, and when they turn back into a trophy, that = death, and thus Mario, being the goody-goody he is, prevented Kirby from dieing, screwing up the natural order.
And thus, the sand bag turned evil, and I believe all the game's heels will be working under Evil Sand Bag.
Imagine the stable! The likes of Bowser and Ganondorf teaming together!

Bump, and two new updates need to be put on the front page: - Yoshi is confirmed as returning for the 3rd game. And......... - Rumble Falls(this is Donkey Kong's stage, based on Jungle Beat) This stage is based on the look and feel of Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, which was played using the DK Bongos. The key here is to keep climbing up and up. The tropical setting is quite nice. The screen slowly scrolls upward, so if you don’t want to get left behind, you’d better get to climbing. Oh, and don’t forget to pummel your opponents on the way. You’re climbing up, but the water keeps flowing down, down, down. The screen’s constantly changing, so it’s fun just to watch, too. The top of the waterfall isn’t the top! Keep climbing!Hey! What’s at the top? Huh? Hmm...I wonder... Basically, it is Brawl's version of the Ice Climbers' stage from Melee.

but apparently they're not gonna jump around with the speed of the stage this time and it's supposed to go at a steady pace.
however that can change when the game finally comes out...

Do you guys think Donkey Kong getting basically a rehash of Icicle Mountain a sign that the Ice Climbers are more or less gone from being playable characters, or will Nintendo somehow bust out a new stage for them?
Also, who do you think the Animal Crossing character in the game will be? What I mean is, each stage on Smash Bros DOJO has a symbol at the top of the article, the symbol that is the same as the character(s) it is the "homefield" of. Smashville's symbol is the symbol of Tom Nook's store, and what most packaged items in your inventory look like, a leaf with a semi-circle piece out of it. I'm guessing it is Tom Nook himself, though that is weird, as in the first pic of Smashville, you can see Tom in the background......maybe this means characters can jump behind the rope line and watch the fight as well? With it being shown that atleast on the Rumble Falls stage you can interact with background items, like ladders, it seems somewhat likely.......

So I would assume that Ice Climbers aren't likely to come back. I'm not too disapointed, but they were good for the Home Run Contest.

I really wouldn't mind too much if the Ice Climbers didn't return.
