Which one do you think would give him the lesser aneurysm (not that he watches them or anything).

I'd say From Hell.
League was ruined in the casting. Constantine was just awful. I have yet to see V .

I'd say V I guess. But that may be because it was the only one I really enjoyed.
LXG wasn't a horrible flick; just didn't have a whole helluva lot to do with the book.
Wasn't a fan of the other two.

V was alright, but they changed how V acted. From Hell was the closest so far.

I think Moore would actually kinda dig Johnny Depp, so I voted for From Hell.

I picked "From Hell" because it did feel closer to the original story than "V" did. They amped up the action in "V" a lot.
"League" was so bad that it may make Moore want to shave his beard off...

LXG was screwed with its entire approach to the property. Didn't have to be faithful to be very good, but Jesus.....I knew it was screwed when reports came out that the Tom Sawyer character was added into the film because "Americans can't relate to an all-British roster." That never stopped 007. The problem with V FOR VENDETTA is that, like the MATRIX movies, the Wachowski Brothers love to make an omlette of philosophical ramblings and heavily-coordinated action sequences. Hell, I think VFV suffers because its too much of an action movie tooled from the graphic novel. Still, Hugo has a mask on and still kicks ass. Anyway, I won't consider CONSTANTINE really a "Alan Moore" property because alot of ideas in the HELLBLAZER comics that the movie took was conducted WAY LATER after Moore departed his Liverpool bastard creation. I guess FROM HELL wins by default, but man what a meh detective triller. Sad since the book is really brilliant about a first-person perspective of a killer. Plus, is it me or the entire concept of a detective using opium to "solve his cases" is sorta stupid? A key symbol of FROM HELL's mixed-delivery is its ending. On paper, its devasting and emotional, but in execution, because of the movie before it, you just don't give a damn.

I haven't seen League, but I have seen the other three and I liked them all quite a bit...but V For Vendetta is actually one of my favourites ever, so I have to go with that one.

V, with From Hell coming in close second.

He obviously doesn't like anything anyone does with his work, but I think he especially hated V for Vendetta, despite people on here liking it (as the others ranged from terrible to meh).
The film adaptation of V took a morally ambiguous character and a story about Facism and Anarchism in stark contrast to each other and dumbed everything down to an action flick with a clumsy Neo-Con vs. Liberal storyline where V was an absolute hero without ever questioning him, his actions, or his ambitions. Where other films were just bad renditions, V was used as a platform to tell someone else's social commentary.
I guess I'd say he'd hate From Hell the least of all, though he'd still hate it and bicker with the studios, all the while looking bat-crap crazy.

I voted for From Hell since it is in itself based on actual events, which means it's not as bad to open it up for interpretation (since that's what he did in the first place).
Seriously though, I think someone can make a shot for shot, use the comic as the script movie of one of his works and he'd STILL whine and complain.

The only book of his I've ever read is "The Killing Joke", so until they make/do good with a movie out of that, I gotta go with V For Vendetta.

Mothersmurfer got mad before "V For Vendetta" even finished because of the "Eggy in a biscuit" part. Not cuz the actual scene wasn't in the book, but cuz of the breakfast dish not being British! Edit: I'm not saying he doesn't have a right to be upset or anything, I'm just saying that it reeks of "knitpickery"

He's an odd duck. No, literally he's dressed like an odd duck. Hell, he has the right to complain. He quit taking payments for these adaptations years ago.

They're anal retentive about the details in trying to be accurate, or whatever they want precisely. Hell, its like that documentary shows, Moore wrote pages and pages and pages of "suggestive" artistic notes to his artist on LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN for one single panel.

The Justice Leauge Unlimited: "For the Man who has Everything." I heard he gave permission to Timm to do it, and everyone else liked it. Close enough.
