It seems to have gotten pretty lukewarm reviews, but I do however love Japanese sports cars you don't see many of in the US and things involving racing them, and I mean, I love kung fu fighting as much as the next guy, soooo...
Is there any reason for me to not like this movie?

If you like most Chan films, you will like THunderbolt. The scene where his house goes topsy turvy is actually pretty cool. Fighting may not be his best, but it is fun.

Thank you I read on imdb or somewhere that the fighting isn't his best because he had injured himself either during the filming of this movie or while filming Rumble in the Bronx.

In Rumble he wrecked his ankle, so that may be it.
