What movies have you seen this year? So far I have seen: Transformers Pirates 3 Spiderman 3 Fantastic Four 2 Simpsons Balls of Fury TMNT Ghost Rider Saw the beginning of Superbad, left and went to see the rest of the Bourne 3 Resident Evil 3
I saw Shooter and Hot Fuzz, but I didn't see them in the theater. I rented them when they came out on DVD. I wanted to see Hot Fuzz in thearters but couldn't find it anywhere by me playing.
I've seen more movies this alone in the thearter this year then the pat 3-4 years combined.

I saw a ton of movies this year.
Quick synopsis:
300- Fantastic movie. 9.5/10
Simpsons- Great to FINALLY see the greatest sitcom of all time get a full feature movie. 8.5/10
Grindhouse: 7/10 A) Death Proof: Interesting film although the Tarantinoish dialogue was a bit too much this time. 6/10 B) Planet Terror: Better than deathrproof. Pure mindless fun 8/10
Spiderman 3- Overrated piece of crap. They tried to stick in 3 villains in one movie and gave the most important villain in the entire Spidey universe (Venom) a pathetic 15 minutes of screen time. Way too many things that sucked about the movie. 5/10
Fantastic Four 2- Pleasantly surprised at this movie. Although geared more for the kiddies it was a pretty nice mix of adult and children themes. Overall very pleased with it. Galactus "cloud" was annoying but not a deal breaker. 7/10
Resident Evil 3: I have played every Resident Evil game and consider myself a huge RE mark. The game and the movie only share the characters names. Any resemblance to videogame resident evil is purely coincidental and/or to cash in on dumb fanboys. The movie itself was piss poor in my view. Want zombies? Go see Planet Terror or my next film... (Rating: 4/10)
28 Weeks Later (Rating: 6.5/10)- Loved the first one. LOVED IT. Thought it was not only one of the best horror movies EVER but one of the best movies of the decade. Weeks starts off incredibly strong in the first 20 minutes with an awesome flashback just days into the infection. Once that bit is over, the movie spirals downhill in a blaze of craptacular glory. Major plot holes serve as plot devices.
Superbad- Funniest movie of the year although the competition wasn't exactly numerous. 7.5/10
I'm tired so I'll do the rest another time.

Quite a few actually...
Reno 911: Miami Ghost Rider 300 Spider-Man 3 Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Zodiac Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer Live Free or Die Hard 1408 Knocked Up Superbad Halloween The Bourne Ultimatum Resident Evil: Extinction Across The Universe
And half of Shrek 3. Wow. I never thought about it before, but that's kinda a lot for somebody who hadn't gone to the movies for what seemed like three years prior.

I've practically now gone to a movie every friggin weekend.........though that might stop this weekend*. So PapaSweed, you saw ACROSS THE UNIVERSE? Did it work or did it fail? People I know either liked it, or wanted to borrow rat poison from their neighbors. *=Forget that emo-kid THE SEEKER (didn't like the book as a kid, but its THE DARK IS RISING, not THE SEEKER. Get the damn title that kids/people grew up with right!) and everything else looks terrible.....unless I get MICHAEL CLAYTON, which I'll go see by default.
