I've never liked Superman much, but it was a pretty good show. Parasite, used like he was on the show, would be EXCELLENT for a sequel.

Superman TAS is probably my favorite Superman ever. I would have liked it if he was a little more powerful, but thats a minor quibble. Superman was almost perfect, the supporting cast was great (but no Cat Grant?), and the villains were incredible. Lex Luthor, Parasite, Brainiac, Toyman (only Toyman I have ever liked), Kalibak, Darkseid, Livewire, Metallo, Volcana, Mister Mxyzptlk, Bizarro, Jax-Ur and Mala. And the guest stars, Steel, Supergirl, Dr. Fate, Aquaman, Green Lantern, Lobo.
While Batman TAS laid the foundations for the Timmverse, Superman opened it up and directly led to the incredible Justice League.

Plus, there were crossovers between Batman and Superman that were superb. 96-98 was a golden age for Batman and Superman. Somewhat.

What I dug so damn much about Timm's SUPERMAN was how he actually made Superman tales worth telling, and incorporated (when possible without Corporate WB lawyers gunning at him) certain concepts from the Golden Age... In part, its obvious he and his people were Superman fans, and it showed.

greatest episodes:
-anything w/ Lobo -the Flash/Superman episode where they fight the Weather Master -the final episode where Superman beats Darkseid, only to have his people on his planet help him recover..
oh, and since W.R. reminded me:
"Mxyzpixilated" with Gilbert Gotfreit as the voice of Mr. Mxyzptlk with my faivorite quote "INNNNNN YO FAAACEEE, SUPERMAN!"

Superman: TAS is my second favourite Superman. My favourite Superman is the one from the Justice League shows, because he was a lot more flawed and a bit of a jerk, and I loved him for that.

The voice acting is spot on & i love the little in jokes that make fun of the superman series & TAS too.
But i still prefer Batman though

This show had the best Metallo, Toyman and Brainiac interpretations ever. Indeed, Superman TAS had an amazing ability to turn Superman's somewhat bland foes into really cool characters. Hell they even made the Female Furies awesome.

When he gets sunk to the bottom of the ocean in The Way of All Flesh and starts walking back to shore with that creepy music playing it gives me chills.

what they did with metallo was brilliant, and it was so simple that i was surprised no one else thought of it. it would be pretty freakin traumatic to have your brain ripped out of your body and stuck in a robot that couldnt feel sensation. it's surprising no one else thought of that with the character.

I wish Bruce Tim & Co made some Marvel cartoons
I would love to see them tackle:
- Fantastic 4 - Iron Man - Hulk
X-men & Spider-man were already great

Supes did have his pervy moments though Niiiiiice. I loved that badass music that would play when Lobo was around. Brad Garrett was perfect at it, enough so that I will forgive him for playing such an annoying Hulk Hogan.
