It would be good to base it off of the "GL: Emerald Dawn" mini. Then have the story end with a shot of Hal with the other GLs, setting up the sequel...

Hell, what I would like is a 5 part series: First movie introduces Hal Jordan, and has John Stewart in a cameo at the end, as we zoom out of Earth to see Parallax, real quickly. Main villain of this film is Sinestro. Second film, Jordan is possessed by Parallax, and Stewart takes up the ring. Halfway through, Stewart "dies" and Kyle Rayner takes over as the Lantern, and defeats Parallax Jordan. We see Parallax slink away, but is not dead. Third film, Jordan and Stewart are revealed to be alive. We have 3 Lanterns now. Main villain of the film is the Manhunters. Towards the end of the film, Sinestro is seen gathering troops. Fourth film, the start of the Sinestro Corps Wars! Lanterns from across the universe battle it out with Sinestro's soldiers. Fifth film, Parallax takes over Rayner and we have the Lost Lanterns story arc and end the Sinestro Corps War. I say in the end, Jordan is the last sector 2184 Lantern to stand at the end of film 5. I wont naysay what you want, but I felt that Parallax being some sort of cosmic parasite as gratuitous and masturbatory fanservice. Say what you will, but ultimately I feel the writer owes nothing to the reader, except a good story. Parallax being something other than Hal Jordan snapping is complete B.S. especially since it just completely destroyed him later heroic sacrifice. No. I don't want Parallax. Ever. But then we can't have the Sinestro Corps War, which I honestly find to be the best Green Lantern story arc since the end of the Silver Age. Parallax is NEEDED for the Sinestro Corps War!

Hal Jorden:Matt Damon Jon Stewart:Terance Howard Guy Gardner:Steve Carell Killwog:CGI voiced by Clancy Brown Sinestro:Jermy Piven
As for the Parallex being a parasite, I don't see that as a cop out. It actually makes the "Day Of Judgement" story where Hal becomes The Spector make more sense. Hal was able to overcome Parallex to reignite the Sun in "Final Night" which made the now hostless Spector feel he was the best choice for a new host. I'll have to reread that series, but I seem to recall some hints that Parallex was still there. This could also explain Spector's madness in "Day of Vengence."

That, and Parallax is to Green Lantern what Venom is to Spider-Man. It MAY be a cop out to put it into the films, but it WILL draw audiences.

I've got to say, something about Alan Scott doesn't sit right with me. I can't put my finger on it, but something about him just makes me hate him, find him uninteresting, generally want him to die.

It's a shame, he's my favorite Green Lantern. Hal's a pretty close second, but Alan's tops for me.

I'd like it to be about Hal Jordan! I'm kinda sick of John Stewart! But in this PC world, they will say that they HAVE to make a black superhero. And that's bad how?
