Let's face it, Calvin and Hobbies=Ratings. As much as it sucks it's still not around, it was a good idea to end the strip "while still on top", then to drag it on. The same idea for The Far Side. Taking The Police route?

Their last album, "Synchronicity", went 8x platinum and was definitely their best work IMO. Then they unofficially split up, never recording another studio album afterwards.

Sting said his reasoning was that it could only of been downhill from there, and he could afford to move on. I'll give him that, he can be as successful as he feels like being.

Two things i've learned from Calvin and Hobbes.... clear plastic binders make your reports more professional looking. Also, bats aren't bugs. ;D
This thread made me want to go and read through the collections I have, it's been awhile.

I learned that girls are slimy. I mean I always sort of knew, but Calvin and Hobbes helped to confirm it.

I despise the C+H merchandise that's out there. I know it's unofficial... but the stuff they do with the characters is disgraceful.
