I bought a 160 gig iPod a couple of weeks ago in Columbus and it's great. I haven't had any problems with it, but iTunes is freaking terrible.
Since I've updated to the newest version, it freezes for about 20-30 seconds for no apparent reason. Like just a few seconds ago, I started playing a song. I try to scroll down and it freezes. I right click and Get Info and it freezes. I click on album art and it freezes. It's really starting to get irritating.
Is anybody else having this problem?

160 GIG?! Wow. And I thought my 80 was pushing it.
EDIT: I haven't updated my iTunes yet. No reason to.

Only problem I've had with freezing is sometimes my iPod will freeze when playing music or WrestleCrap radio. And it's only been happening this past week...
Wonder if the new iTunes/software updates did something to my iPod.
Meh.

My advice is to only use iTunes to sync your iPod. Use WMP or winamp for mp3 playback on your computer.

What I mean is that there's probably a glitch where the program sucks all the RAM, and so your machine freezes a lot of the time.

I do not have this problem. In fact I havent had any problems with iTunes, with the exception that it once deleted my whole library. so I just had to add them to iTunes again. Never had any problems with iTunes in cooperation with my iPod.
but that might because I use a mac?
