I'm suppose to make an original theory essay for class. The thing is I can't think of a good topic/idea to write about. So once again, I'm going to the WC community for some assistance. Any ideas? BTW I would appreciate if legitmately useful topics were given. EDIt: Ok, since I got "Boobs" for a topic idea x3, I'll be a little more clear. It doesn't need to be a complicated theory topic. It can just a simple idea, a commoners theory such as: Why do we crave horror movies? Because we are all mentally ill in a way. Now, can I have some useful topics please?

BEWWWBZZ!!!1!!111!
Seriously though, my sophomore year I took a class called Theory of Basketball. If that can be a class, surely you can use some kind of theory on a sport or something you really like.

Why do we bury our dead? Why do we think being underground is peaceful? Etc.

Hows that?
I can come up with more maybe.

Why are kittens so fwuffy-wuffy adowable?
Because dogs are ugly. Also, they smell when they're all wet and gassy.

Jesus people!
Can we take the time to help out a mod with a serious issue or does everyone have to just try and amuse themselves?

That second one, I think.
OK, seriously:
Q: Why are video games so addictive? A: Because they give us a sense of accomplishment.

Why not stay close to home and go with "The surgence of pro-wrestling popularity in the 80s, and why we still watch it ?"
WWE magazine did a very interesting article about the spectacle that was Hulkamania once. It factored in a lot of things about the political climate at the time - the Cold War, and here's this make-believe hero on TV beating the Russians, something that wasn't happening in real-life and there was uncertainty of war etc.

Why do people behave so differently online & in-person
I did my university degree on communication differences between network play where people were separated & when people played in the same room (Honest), I found it quite interesting
