Credit to Rafael Betancourt for getting through Manny Ortez with damage.
Stoneman stepped down? Does this mean that the Angels will actually trade for someone?

Boston, at least show SOME fight. Makes the Halos look like chumps when you lose like that. Credit to Rafael Betancourt for getting through Manny Ortez with damage. Stoneman stepped down? Does this mean that the Angels will actually trade for someone? The announcers mention this in the top of the 7th... but I haven't found any concrete info on it yet.

I'm convinced that the Colorado Rockies have become the John Cena or Hulk Hogan of MLB. They don't job to anybody anymore. I'm starting to believe that it don't matter who's coming out of the AL, because Colorado is gonna bury them. Wow, so many wrestling euphemisms in one post. I think I'll treat myself to a cookie. They may be the Cena or Hogan of the MLB, however.. The Tribe are the Undertaker. All the marks(read: stupid people) think they're dead and down and out. And the second they think that...BAM, they sit straight up and answer back with a tombstone. Oh, and in regards to your cookie.......YOINK!

When was the last time an MLB team swept all their opponents in the playoffs?

When was the last time an MLB team swept all their opponents in the playoffs? The 1976 Cincinnati Reds, and that was before the Wild Card, so it hasn't been done in the Wild Card era yet.

Technically the Sox won all thier series games in a row in 04 the only problem was the 3 games they spotted the Yanks first.

Look I'm a Yankees fan, but I'm not in the mood to have a Yanks-Red Sox argument. Let's save that till after the ALCS or WS, whichever the Red Sox lose in.
