what became the last ep of the show, was meant to be a cliffhanger. however, when it became clear that nbc wouldnt renew the show the ending of the episode was re-edited and given the rather down beat ending it ended up with. here was the original ending: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdW1aK_SIjY

He should have leaped into Johnathan Archer's body...therby creating a double spin-off.

All I remember from the ending is Sam meeting God and never making it home.

All I remember from the ending is Sam meeting God and never making it home. Oh I know that, what I meant was in this alternative ending you never even find out what happened to Sam after doing this for Al nor do you even know where he ended up........Not much of a cliffhanger

Huh I think that's worse that the original I mean what happened to Sam Exactly. Screw Sam, as long as Al got some action? His daughters were HOT.

He should have leaped into Johnathan Archer's body...therby creating a double spin-off. I told my friend from day one of Enterprise that the series should end by having Al show up and be like "We got the glitch fixed Sam, you're about to get out of here." Then 'Archer' would start to glow and leap out. I never watched Enterprise though, but he is a big Star Trek fan.

I loved this show and I was kinda surprised that they went with the Sam never going home route. I liked it! Not every story should get that happy ending.
Awesome that they are all on dvd.

They were talking about starting up a new series on Sci-Fi though. It would be a continuation and not just re-start. I guess those talks dies off.

All I remember from the ending is Sam meeting God and never making it home. That was supposed to be God? I thought it was not only showing how Sam's adventure ended, but also showed us what happened to D-Day
