All I'd need is four bedrooms and one bathroom that does me. I don't need a labyrinth.

I can just picture you sitting in a lawn chair with a homemade sign saying "Maps to the Star's Homes 2 bucks".

Did you take these yourself? Once you have too much money to spend, large houses become something that don't mean a thing anymore. And I'm pretty sure everyone of these celebrities donate to charity as well; it's just, that once you donate money, you get it back at tax time. Just the way the country works, you know.

completely uncalled for. no one needs a house that big. Most thing in life that we covet, are things that we do not need. So what if one man covets a large house, whereas some one else covets new clothes? And yet another person covets a new car...? You all are in want of something that you don't need. Why is that so wrong? You mean to tell me, if one day, all your hard work paid off through actual money in addition to self fullfillment, you would not buy things for yourself that would improve your way of life? I highly doubt anyone would not at least buy a nicer car, or a nicer ensemble, or at least a nicer toothbrush. You don't need any of those things... but you still want it, right? What's so wrong about that?

If I were that rich, I still wouldn't buy such a big home.

If I were that rich, I still wouldn't buy such a big home. You wouldn't have your friends or family move into a large home on your estate? To make their lifes easier? Plus, you would need living quarters for the hired help... so that's a lot of space as well.

Nope.
What hired help?
As a rich man, I'd still be cheap.

You're a diamond in the rough.
And no, I am not hitting on you.
Unless you want me to be.
In all seriousness, most people would buy extravagent things that they do not need, even if they once said they would never do it.

I'm sure those airplanes at Travolta's house are the fuel cell models that run entirely on electricity generated from water.
