It can still be an opinion if it presented as fact. It is somewhat questionable to do so but it is generally accepted that if one states an opinion as fact they are just trying to re-inforce the content within the opinion.
And anyway I haven't seen this degenerate into a slanging match between the two sports and their merits, merely one group of people with one opinion and another group of people with a different opinion.

There. We got David Beckham. You get that. I'd say we're even. Yeah, thats for sending us Beckham! Now take him back! Don't make us send you the Rams vs. Dolphins!

Even though you already degenerated the sport of football? Also, I know opinions can be stated to sound as if they are facts. What I am saying it I have nothing against you thinking they are better sports but when you talk about people not needing talent and having one sport require more talent then the other you don't have the experience to have an opinion on that. That is trying to state a fact, not an opinion. How much talent it takes to play a sport has nothing to do with opinion.

LOL. Crappy Dolphins, representing the NFL. HA! Every team in the NFL would have played like crap on that field and in those conditions. Ah, well... the Giants still won. ;D

I can't tell if you're joking or not, but good teams would be able to overcome it. Infact that field probably HELPED Miami more then hurt them.

"I hope they don't have much interest for it elsewhere. They need to keep the games in America. If a Superbowl ever leaves the US, I'll be smurfing irate."
Both MLB and NHL have teams based in Canada. Now Canada has the CFL but if they should ever decide to get have a NFL team they could hold a Superbowl out of this country technically with a built stadium.
They should totally make the Blue Bombers and NFL team. lol

Outside of the huge field and being called football these sports have nothing in common. Give it a rest guys.

God, Soccer has more in common with Hockey. And wheres the baseball vs. cricket talk? Cue the typical American responce about cricket (In my experience) ... 'You play a match for 4 days and you still get a draw!' If cricket were ever to make a break in America it will be the one day international matches.

And if Bekham tries to rip us off in the US again, we may send England another crappy game. Like I said, lets get the Rams and Dolphins on deck....just in case.

Good choice. Far superior sport, far superior entertainment and far superior talent levels. (ooh er) I tried to watch some of the NFL just for the spectacle of it but it just comes off as a poor man's version of Rugby that takes way too long to complete. Guys can we just ONCE talk about this stuff without a "My sports better then yours! Na-na-na-na-nah!" type conversation? I just watched the highlights. Has a more boring, drawn out game ever been invented? It's like a dull version of Rugby but goes on for hours. I guess I could see why you like it if you grew up with it and all that but it requires little talent beyond being able to run fast, being able to catch or just being fat. You're showing your ignorance of it by belittling the talent many of these guys have. Just because you don't understand it or like it doesn't mean you have to be high and mighty about it, and act like it requires no talent. I could do the same about soccer, hockey and many other sports, but I don't. I didnt really go on a rant about which game is better, I was just merely pointing the fact, that the majority of sports fans here would have watched the Football game between Liverpool/Arsenal Same could be said for mainland Europe and their respective football league fixtures that Sunday

One of those football players should have sacked that streaker and show him that we dont screw around with streakers.
