England must be ravaged by injuries because Albert Steptoe has just come on.
Oh my bad, it's Phil Neville.

Northern Ireland lose at Latvia - the dream could well be over now.

In line with the current trend, the French anthem has been heavily booed in Milan.
Classy move from Italian fans, albeit coherent with what Domenech and some French players said in the previous days.

I admit i was wrong, England played well
If only they could play like that often and sit back on a 1 - 0 lead

Awesome. France & Italy drew
That means our 3 main rivals for qualification dropped points and we're second in the group (1 point behind France)
The dream lives on........for now lol

.......Does No Chance count lol?
Seriously though, grinding out a 0 - 0 is our best shot I think on Wednesday, we'd do well to get that

Great, the best performance by England in ages and i missed it. Good to see Scotland, Republic and Northern Ireland still have good chances of qualifying despite bad results tonight (bar Scotland)
Wales, as expected, were a shambles. Germany looked a class act and a good bet to win Euro 2008.

Really really sucks that Ireland lost. Speaking of nil points Leeds are now onto 0. Although as a Liverpool fan and I shouldn't like Leeds, that 15 point deduction was ridiculous. I hope they get promoted at the end of the season because it's a shame to see a huge club in the state they're in. Why was it ridiculous? They went into administration, therefore they had a deduction. Same happened to Rotherham the year before and nobody called that unfair. And it is perfectly fair to compare the 2- Leeds being a 'big club' does not mean they have a right to be in a higher league, or a right to be let off for messing their finances up. I hate the elistist attitude that big clubs should always dominate. Leeds blew away their money and owed masses, therefore they deserve a deduction. I hope they get relegated again, just to show that it doesn't have to be the 'big' clubs who stay in the top flight football. I cannot stand that sort of mentality, which is partly why I don't like the Newcastle chairman for his ocmments about the lower leagues a few years back.
