Christopher Lee. He's the best anything he's ever played.

THIS... IS... TRANSYLVANIA!! Sorry. LOL, he actually doesn't look much like Leonidas as Dracula. I'm sort of surpised nobody put Miles O'Keefe from Waxwork as a joke answer, since he's the WORST. DRACULA. EVER.

No love for Gary Oldman? He was simply amazing in "Bram Stoker's Dracula" and gave the role a complexity rarely seen before or since. If anything, Max Schreck in "Nosferatu" is absolutely peerless.

Blacula is actually an African noble bitten by Dracula, but he was awesome as hell, so I voted for him anyway.

Leslie Nielson.. . . Dracula, dead and loving it. A close second would be Deacon Frost (Stephen Dorff) in Blade 1.
I think my favorite Dracula film is Bram Stoker's Dracula. Especially those sexy female vampires.

This poll could have also used Leslie Neilson: "Children of the night... what a mess they make!"

Both of those are missing.

Gary Oldman... he turned Monica Belluci into a hot naked vampire... Also he was not harmed by the sun, puts him at a strategic advantage.
Also Leslie Nielsen... "I never drink... wine, and I never eat... chicken."

I'm a purist so I say Lugosi is the definitive because he's the most copied. But Christopher Lee was awesome, William Marshall was a classy vamp, Jack Palance was alright, Leslie Nielsen was very entertaining and Gary Oldman was commendable. I can say the WORST Dracula was the one that played it in the Van Helsing movie. And sadly I couldn't believe Louis Jourdan as Dracula because I always think of him as Arcane from "Swamp Thing".
