Shuma-Gorath defeats Croc 4-2 -------------------------------------------- Next along ... The Joker - He is a supervillain and archenemy of Batman. The Joker is a master criminal with a clown-like appearance, including bleached white skin, red lips, and green hair. Initially portrayed as a violent sociopath who murders people for his own amusement, the Joker, later in the 1940s, began to be written as a goofy trickster-thief. That characterization continued through the late 1950s and 1960s before the character became again depicted as a vicious killer. The Joker has been responsible for numerous tragedies in Batman's life, including the paralysis of Barbara Gordon (Batgirl/Oracle) and the murders of Jason Todd (the second Robin) and Jim Gordon's second wife Sarah Essen. The Joker is considered to be ahomicidal maniac who is completely insane. It is said that the Joker's insanity runs so deeply, that he recreates himself every day. He could have a different personality with different quirks and mannerisms whenever he sees fit. The Joker commits crimes with countless "comedic" weapons (such as razor-sharp playing cards, acid-spewing flowers, cyanide pies, and lethally electric joy buzzers) and Joker venom, a deadly poison that infects his victims with a ghoulish rictus grin as they die while laughing uncontrollably. Joker's skills in hand-to-hand combat vary considerably depending on the writer. Some writers have shown Joker to be quite the skilled fighter, capable even of holding his own against Batman in a fight. Other writers prefer portraying Joker as being physically frail to the point that he can be defeated with a single punch. He is, however, consistently described as agile. ![](http://images.wikia.com/marvel_dc/images/6/65/Joker.jpg) vs Man-Thing - He is a marvel universe monster, that is a large, slow-moving, vaguely humanoid creature living in the Florida Everglades near the Seminole reservation. Ted Sallis, a native of Omaha, Nebraska, is a biochemist working in the Everglades who develops a "miracle drug" later defined as an attempt at recreating the "super-soldier serum" that created Captain America. Betrayed by his lover, Ellen Brandt, Sallis flees from agents from Advanced Idea Mechanics (AIM), who covet his formula and research. He injects himself with the serum, but after crashing in a swamp and apparently drowning is transformed into a swamp creature through a combination of his formula and (it was later explained) magical forces extant in the area. Sallis' mind was apparently extinguished, although it was later shown that he could briefly return to consciousness within his monstrous form, and indeed he has been briefly returned to his human form several times. Man-Thing is a former scientist who became a nearly mindless mass of slime with no particular affinity to any living thing, but who nevertheless often becomes an accidental hero as it stumbles upon various crime and horror scenarios. It is able to sense human emotions, and is enraged by fear and automatically secretes a strong chemical corrosive; anyone feeling fear and clutched by the Man-Thing is prone to be burned (either chemically or mystically), hence the series' tag-line, "Whatever knows fear burns at the Man-Thing's touch." Though fear is understandably most people's response to the creature, typically only villains end up meeting an immolating death at its hands. It also has superhuman strength. he is invulnerable to conventional forms of attack and is dependant on the swamp to survive (Although he can leave it, he will grow weaker the longer he stays away). ![](http://images.wikia.com/marveldatabase/images/b/b2/Man_Thing_001.jpg) Obviously I'm voting for the clown prince of crime, The Joker.

Joker effortlessly deals with Man-Thing --------------------------------- Up next ... Psylocke - Betsy Braddock is a Marvel Comics superhero, sister to Captain Britain, and often associated with the X-Men. Psylocke is a mutant; originally a telepath, she currently possesses telekinesis. She is also a highly skilled hand-to-hand combatant. Originally a british character due to some underhanded organisations she was mind swapped with an asian ninja assain. She has since kept this form and has aquired fighting skills that would match a master martial artist,. The most common usage of her powers was the manifestation of a "psychic knife," described as "the focused totality of her psychic powers," which she often used to disrupt the neurons of her foes by driving the glowing "blade" of mental energy into their heads. During this time she chose to fight up-close most of the time, using her new martial arts skills, although she could still utilize distanced telepathic assaults. Recently to keep the Shadow King imprisoned in the Astral Plane, Psylocke sacrificed the use of her telepathy, but at some point gained Phoenix's telekinesis instead. ![](http://images.wikia.com/marveldatabase/images/1/14/Psylocke_099.jpg) vs Blue Beetle - He is a superhero in the DC Universe. There have been three blue beetles over time and the most recent is Jaime Reyes as Ted Cord was murdered by Maxwell Lord recently. The original Blue Beetle was Dan Garrett. All three had interactions with a Blue Scarab (an advanced alien technology) which granted them differeing powers. Dan Garret had bulletproof costume and superhuman stregth. Ted Kord had no superpowers however he did possess a genius-level intellect, with an IQ of 192. He was an Olympic-level acrobat, and skilled hand-to-hand combatant, well studied in the martial arts of Karate and Aikido. Kord created numerous gadgets which included suction pads, sight-enhancing lenses and a protective costume. he also had an airship, the Bug, contained high tech equipment, could electrify or magnetize its hull, fire electrical energy and could fly at 600 mph. Jaime Reyes has the scarab grafted on to his spine which creates a power armored suit for him with various abilities. ![](http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/73/BlueBeetle03.png) Psylocke has my vote.

BB is a douche bag, but it just wouldn't be right without having him around. And Booster would be lonely.

Psylocke defeats Blue beetle ----------------------------- Up next ... Raven - A superhero in the DC Comics. She is known specifically for her role in Teen Titans comics. Raven has been a prominent member of The New Teen Titans, and is currently a member of the modern Teen Titans. She is an empath who can teleport and control her "Soul Self", which can fight physically as well as act as Raven's eyes and ears away from her body. Raven's chronology is typically separated into three lives; her first life, 20 years, was spent in the Temple Azarath and creating The New Teen Titans. Her second life began once she started wearing the garb of White Raven, and lasted under two years. Her third life is her current form. Unlike the transition between her first and second lives, with her third life came a new body, that of a 17-year-old. A character with morbid past and origins, Raven is the half-breed daughter of a human mother named Arella and the interdimensional demon Trigon. ![](http://images.wikia.com/marvel_dc/images/3/3f/Raven_002.jpg) vs Cannonball - He is a marvel comics superhero associated with the x-men. Cannonball is a mutant who possesses the ability to fly at jet speeds while encased in an invulnerable force field. The eldest of a large Kentucky coal mining family, Cannonball is one of few X-Men from a southern, rural background and has maintained the values of civility, hard work, and a strong commitment to his beliefs throughout his career as a superhero. Several of his siblings are also mutants and have joined X-Men-related teams, including his sisters, Paige and Melody, and brothers Jay and Jeb. Cannonball was a founding member of the X-Men's junior team The New Mutants. He joined The New Mutants' later incarnation X-Force, serving as second-in-command and field leader. He joined the X-Men, becoming the first member of a secondary team to "graduate." His tenure was complicated by clashes with superiors and he eventually rejoined X-Force. He is currently a member of the X-Men once again. A "salt-of-the-earth", honest, well-mannered and responsible young man, Guthrie is a natural leader. Cannonball possesses the ability to bodily generate thermo-chemical energy and release it from his skin. This energy is used as thrust to cause his body to be propelled through the air, like his namesake, at great heights and speeds with considerable maneuverability. He can control his speed and direction through sheer act of will. At first he could only release this energy from his feet and legs, but now he can fire it from almost any part of his body, to a wide variety of effects. This energy also manifests itself as an impenetrable and virtually indestructible "blast field". He can use this blast-field to: function as a personal shield or extending it to encompass others, shape the field around another person to imprison them, or absorb outside kinetic impact into his own energy supply, and then re-channel it to increase the bludgeoning power of his blows or create explosive shock waves upon impact. ![](http://images.wikia.com/marveldatabase/images/4/42/X-treme_X-Men_24.jpg) I'm going with Raven, cool character.

Raven is pretty awesome.
Cannonball is a part of that whole class of characters in the X-Men world that really serve no purpose.
The mutants really did hit a low point of nWo sized proportions for a while.
