We have so many great singer songwriters in Britain, any number of them could wipe the floor with James C, how on earth could he be the one to make it really huge in America. You're Beautiful is an absolute disgrace to music, and he has to go down as one of the smuggest tossers I have ever seen in my life.
Last year I worked as a runner for a TV production company which was filming the 02 Festival in Hyde Park for Channel Four, and James Blunt headlined one of the nights. I couldn't believe what I was seeing- fifty thousand people going apeshit to this whiny idiot sing his lame, dull songs. He was embarressingly bad live, but people couldn't get enough of it. I just don't get his appeal.
