ok so heres the deal! I live in indiana and it seems like everything is WONDERFUL in the summertime, good weather, always things to do, and its ususally light outside till 9 at night. Ok so when Fall comes around it seems like everything changed and i swear because of this I get depressed lol.
Its like today was such a gloomy rainey day and it ususally it dark outside by 5:30!!!!. I find myself getting tired around 7 oclock at night because it seems more like 11 or so to me..
Does anyone else seem to have this problem? Just how when Summer is in full affect and the day stays lighter longer everything seems good, but as the year goes on and it gets darker and colder it just seems like im more tired and just lazy!
am i crazy ?

Nah, just where you are when the seasons affect you. Like here August/ September is brutal. It is like living in the human body, 98 degrees...100% humidity.

I dunno, I guess it's an actual problem for people, Winter Blues or something.....I'd look, but I don't care.
I know whatcha mean, but I don't really feel that way, since I'm tired and lazy all the time.

Seasonal Affective Disorder is a recognised condition. It may be worth a trip to the doctor just to talk it over and set you mind at ease.

when i lived in wisconsin, it would happen all the time at the begining of winter. as the winter rolled on i would get used to it and my mood would return to normal, usually just before christmas. since moving to california, never happens to me. sure, there are less hours of sun light but at least the sun is out. unlike back home where it is usually four monthes of gray sky. ive been told the key is to be active outdoors during the day light hours or to get a sunlamp or uv lamp that will give you the exposure to sunlight that your missing out on. i personally never tried it, since i believe that all my problems orginate within me thus can be solved by me.

it's very common, I don't get depressed because of the season though. I like the dark and I've been ok in general lately(I'm usually not)

It's a pretty common problem. I suffer from it myself. It's not just the cold weather, it's less daylight, less fresh air, and less activity. They all contribute. I'm pretty miserable in the winter months.

E Washington has terrible(what people who don't live here would describe as awesome) winters. Cold and a lot of snow.
Ever since I was about 16, I've gotten a little bit of seasonal depression during winter, but this year has by far been the worst.

I get depressed during the seasons. It's not because of the weather, it's because I have no money to buy anyone anything.

It gets dark here at 16:00 just now. So I`m all screwed up. Waking up mid afternoon, fallin asleep again, then being up til 06:00 etc.
When I`m awake I have no energy to do anything. Bring on the spring!

I'm miserable for most of Fall, Winter and Spring (spring sucks in Canada, it's usually still cold until mid-May).
There's usually a few days in late June that I'm in a good mood.

yeah its crazy, I live basically on the Indiana/Illinois border and illinois is an hour behind us, so basically it its dark about 4:30 in the afternoon there.....I just hate the fact that there is less day light and everything seems to just dye down much earlier...no wonder people can so much weight around this time of year! Makes me just want to sleeeeeeeeeep
