I know there are a lot of people on this board that know a good bit about computers, and I've seen a good few threads where people have had their computer problems solved, so I figured maybe someone could help with mine.
For some reason, my PC won't Shut Down. I click Start, Turn Off Computer, Shut Down.......then nothing!
I can't even get it to Restart.
Anyone have any idea on how to fix this?
I'd appreciate a PM, if you could help. Thanks!

Have you tried shutting down with the Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del -> Shut Down -> Turn Off)?

What Operating Sysytem are you using? If so try
1. Click - Start - Control Panel - Performance and Maintenance - Power Options Tab 2. Then click APM - Enable Advanced Power Management Support

Have you tried shutting down with the Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del -> Shut Down -> Turn Off)? Just did, no luck. And to fuirther compound matters, it appears Norton Antivirus has dissappeared.
