I know there was a thread asking if anyone was gonna shop for black friday, most everyone on it said no. But did anyone go out anyway?
I ended up getting Guitar Hero II at Circuit City for 59.99. Wasnt planning on buying anything, just wanted to be out in it. But I couldnt pass it up. Also went to Target and got the Ghostbusters set for 5.98, and Shawshank Redemption for 3.98.
It was weird at Target, because even though the parking lot was full, inside the store it seemed like any other day, they had every single register open, yet hardly anyone was checking out, so I was in and out of there pretty quick.
Circuit City was another story because they are stupid and only have 2 normal registers in the whole store. So anyone else find anything good?

Yea I did Meijer and a got a 9 dollar sleeping bag.
Circuit City sucked for me and every cashier there went at the pace of dial up downloading a large document. I did get everything I wanted there though (bunch of cheap DVDs) but had to wait for over an hour to be checked out. It kinda helped out for Target though as it was a lot easier to get the one DVD and 12 packs of VHS videos (4.99 a piece)
The Hollywood Video had a nice sale on used DVDs and I got Little Miss Sunshine and Borat for 3.99 but no Rocky Balboa, the only thing on my list that I didn't get

I went to Kohl's for some clothes. I picked up a Suede jacket for $55, marked down from $140. I also got a pair of leather gloves for $20 (marked down from $45), a scarf for $10 (marked from $25), a tie for $12 (from $25), and a dock/speakers for my iPod for $30 (from $80).
Also picked up an 18 karat gold necklace for my mom for $40 (marked from $120). So all in all, it was a great loot, but I didn't get to sleep until 7am. Whatever.

Uh, didn't really score any loot, however I officially hate working Black Friday. So, next year if I'm working retail, I'm taking my vacation that day.

got the kidlet a pair of Heelys that he's been asking for. Cheaper than they were at Dick's. Checked into some Under Armour for him but didn't find anything in his size.
Was actually amazed that by 1 PM the place was dead. Granted it's just a small town in Ohio but still. Front row parking, no waiting in line, no crowds. Awesome.

An empty bag of delicious bag. It will make a fine sock for the colder of my two feet.

There was a LOT of youth sized Under Armour at the Sports Authority by my place... One HUGE rack of cold, one of hot, with each color having a different spot... it was crazy.

My best friend's husband went to Toys r Us & waited inside the store 2 hours to get & check out with a PS2 & 5 games for 139.
Ya ask me, that sounds like a waste when they didn't even sound like good games.

I got nothing. I was asleep until 9 a.m., and by the time I got out into the stores, the Black Friday sales were over.
