The genie that pops out of the lamp has a little Red Cross T-shirt and grants you 2 wishes for diseases to be cured.
Let's assume your first wish is to cure cancer. All cancer in the world is now magically cured (leukemia, tumors, everything).
Post what your second wish cure is.
Mine would probably be Type I Diabetes. That sumbitch is nasty, genetic (so you can't really prevent it) and has no cure at present.

AIDS, I can't even imagine a world where it wasn't a risk to have sex with various people and that sucks balls.

Polycystic Kidney disease(genetic)- there is no cure and there is no treatment. My wife will eventually need a kidney transplant down the road, all the while having pain in her sides for the rest of her life. There's also a 50% chance of passing this crap onto your children. So if you have 2 kids, one will need a kidney later on in life. Isn't that a bitch? We haven't had luck having kids and when we do we have this to look forward to.

Hmm, since everyone is picking HIV/AIDS, I'll use mine on any type of mutating virus. MRSA or that nasty Avian Influenza.

I'll have to say Type 1 Diabetes also. It's a royal pain to deal with all the time. I miss eating sweets oh so much.
