A quick re-cap....the directorial feature-length debut of Stanley Kubrick was FEAR & DESIRE, yet its not ever been released on VHS or DVD, and probably never will be. Why? Because Kubrick was embarrased by it, calling it a amateur pathetic effort, he did his best to suppress the movie's availability from movie buffs. Kubrick's earliest released work is his 2nd feature, KILLER'S KISS, which actually is a pretty good movie. Now FEAR & DESIRE got taped onto a bootleg VHS, and someone posted it at YouTube. Its in rather terrible quality, but hey....you Kubrick/film buffs get to see a movie that's got a notorius rep because of its suppression. I'll probably watch it later today/tomorrow and review it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JLkxzzKF5I&feature=related
