The emulation thing is iffy. If you have a brand new PSP odds are it'll be difficult to get them to run easily, if at all.

Get the Capcom Classics compilations (esp. if you have a new PSP and the emulators don't work).

But as for good games, I would personally go to Tekken: Dark Resurrection. It is pretty much a good the only game IMO on the PSP that was a huge graphics smash, and very playable too.

Definitely purchase Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles.
You get three games (Rondo Classic, Rondo Redux, and Symphony) for the price of 1.

My PSP broke after my girlfriend's cat knocked it off the counter back in April. It just stopped reading the UMD things altogether.
I was sad. The PSP had totally revolutionized sitting on the john for me!
Then, a week ago we were cleaning the apartment and I found my broken PSP and turned it on. And, I don't know how or why, but all the sudden it worked again!!!
I don't know how the thing miraculously fixed itself over the past 7 months of sitting on a shelf, but it did!!
It was like finding $20 in an old pair of pants.

Sega Genesis Collection. I have it. What can be better than playing Sonic, Vectorman, and Phantasy Star on the road without a Nomad?

Dude, you too? Sweet! I thought I was the only one. I'm currently playing Manhunt 2. I find it a lot better than most reviews are saying, although it's defiantly better in small doses. Surprisingly "Pick-up-and-play-friendly". If that's not your thing, GTA: Vice City Stories and the aforementioned Initial D: Street Stage are good choices, though you'll have to import Street Stage. If you do, get the Asian version. It comes with an English instruction manual.
