RIP John.
The greatest songwriter ever to live.
Odd that I'm wearing my Beatles hoodie as we speak.

R.I.P. to John Lennon. A songwriter, musician, son, husband, father and humanitarian who lived and loved.
Wasn't aware that it was the anniversary of his death, but was just reading some of In My Own Write before coming back here.
The cab ride between him and Dylan is sorta intriguing and fun.
Bob: I wish I could talk English, man. John. Me too, Bobby.

Lennon's probably the closest to my idol you could have
I actually liked Lennon more on his own than in the Beatles

Anyone being murdered is bad, but I was never a The Beatles nor Lennon fan.

He was awesome. But bigger than Jesus? Please. He mean't that most teenagers around the world cared more about the Beatles than Jesus and if you think and look about the time, that statement may possibly be very true

Aside from being one of the most iconic men to ever exist, I have infinite respect for John Lennon for reasons outside of his music.
John Lennon ended the greatest band of all time - over love.
I'm not sure I can think of someone else who would have the balls to stand up for the woman he loved, a woman mercilessly attacked in the press and by the public all over the world, not only that, but to end the greatest band ever as an act of solidarity.
An undeniable legend.
