They just started playing this on Adult Swim on Friday nights and I started watching it simply to get to Family Guy, but...
It is so absurdly hilarious, I'm watching it every week now.
I know one of the Crappers has the show in their sig and I always wondered what the hell "Darkplace" was.
Anyone else watching? If you watched the original run, how many episodes did they make? And is that Liz girl hot or is it just me?

I love this show. Hopefully, some new episodes will be made. I hope no new episodes are made. Helps keep the kayfabe of the show alive. "As a horror writer I don't ask for much; I just hope I've changed the way you think about life. "

Wow, they're showing this in America now?! Excellent. I'm glad it's getting more recognition.

The funniest thing about this, as well as the AWESOMENESS of Dean Learner, is that Kingdom Hospital came out around the same time, and looked just as cheap. And that was a serious show.

Only six episodes were made. They were all magnificent.
There was also Man To Man With Dean Learner, which was less magnificent, but the episode with the folk musician was pure genius.
The chick is hot, I've never seen her without the bad hair though.
'YOU AND HE WERE...BUDDIES...WEREN'T YOU.'
So many awesome lines.
I don't know if it's out on DVD yet, but you have to buy it. The DVD is in character - Dean, Garth and Todd. And they're hilarious. 'I always thought they should call makeup products for black women ethnic cleansing.'

"I'm sure we all feel that he exploded too young, but, the Lord moves in mysterious ways. Sometimes, he'll come in at an angle. Other times, he can hover, then swoop. Sometimes he can even come in from beneath, like a worm, or mole. The Lord, it's his call how he chooses to maneuver."

The guy who plays Dean is great at acting bad. Indeed. And at enjoying comically large cigars. I always look forward to when Dean has to answer the phone.

Man to man with Dean Learner was disappointing after how good Darkplace was.

But the folk musician episode was GENIUS!
"I blame the production, personally." "Oh yes, and who produced it?" "I did."

Funny story (to me) when I received my Darkplace DVD, on the disc it said DeanVD and it didn't work......Always got a kick out of that lol
As for Man to Man, I just wanna say I was dissapointed with some of the episodes at first but when I they all were a lot better when I re-watched them on DVD

"I think she's somewhere in the Eastern Block"
"You still think she's alive?."
"No, she's probably just buried in the Eastern block, if she got a burial!"
Brilliant show. Shame only 6 episodes were made. Still at least that meant getting the every episode on DeanVD only cost €20

Blood. Blood. Blood. Blood. Blood. Ruby red blood. Her blood. Blood. Blood. And bits of sick.
20 Euros? Ya sucker. I got mine for seven quid. And I'm pretty sure that doesn't equate.
