Go Neo-Geo next, then Whereas I would probably do PS2 since the system is almost done for. The PS2 could still last a bit. Especially if Sega of America gives us the PS2 port of NiGHTS (the Saturn game, not the Wii sequel), which doesn't even come out in Japan until February.... Besides, do you really need this board to tell you that the majority of people love GTA San Andreas?

My PS2 list would be insane. I won entirely too many games. Actually limiting it to 25 would be impossible, so many great games, few consoles rival the number of great games there.
Do Jaguar list, i can be the only one to vote. I have like 10 games, and 7 are awesome! some had great ideas that were limited by hardware. Club Drive, great tracks and level design, awful graphics and a controller not suited for racing).
Anyway, can't say I agree with Shenmue at number 1, I liked it a lot, but it never felt much like a game, more like a simulation of the life of a dude who is a loser that knows martial arts.

The list isn't about "100 best Dreamcast games", it's about "100 most Popular Dreamcast Games among Wrestlecrap Members", though.

On PS2 I think we may be surprised to see folks vote equally for SA and Vice City. Though my top 2 are Metal gear Solid 3 and Ghost Hunter.

Except for MAYBE the soundtrack department, there is NO WAY Sonic Adventure is better than 2, no way at all. That's like saying Super Mario Bros. tops SMB 3. Not even close.
Shenmue was good, I can understand it being #1...dont agree with it, but I can see how.
Can't say I can judge on Soul Caliber, but I have played 2 and 3 and...well...I hope they're not as good as the original anyway...
If my controllers worked, I would SOOO break my Dreamcast out right now...I own a good chunk of these.
Thats it, I am going to my local Gameco (the only place in KC with any games that are pre-PS2...yeah, Gamestop and EB pretty much have KC on lockdown...though they also have NES, Atari, and even have a working VF2 arcade machine for $450) and getting me some controllers.

Shenmue and SoulCalibur were definitely the most important games in the DC library in the US, regardless of which got #1 or #2.

I liked Sonic adventure 1 so much more than 2, it was more fun for me. AS for Soulcalibur, 1 was better than 2 and 3. It really was. It felt more balanced, and smoother, played better.

Wait until late 2008 to early 2009 for the Playstation 2 list, as well as the Game Cube and X-Box list.
Now I am considering Hottest Video Game Vixens (women for the lay men) as my next list.

Dang, that long? I think that the GameCube and X-Box are dead fish now (GameCube's last game was in August, and the same goes for X-Box), so doing countdowns for both would not be that bad of an idea. In fact, I was going to start the GameCube countdown on Wednesday, with the X-Box soon after. As for the PS2, it's still got another year or two left in it at least, so it's perfectly understandable not to do the countdown for that for a while.

You may be correct, but since you plan on already doing it, I might just let you do your thing while I do my thing.
