Did anyone actually play this? Came out around 2005, was a budget title, but a fun one. Featured Michael Madsen and Bill Bellamy as the voices of the main characters. Adam Sessler once noted that it was "the only game where YOU smoke crack!" I mean, it wasn't great, but it was worth the 20 bucks back then. It suffered the fate that many games I own suffered, I reached a point where for the life of me I could NOT figure out any possible scenario in which I could win (I tried eeevvveeerryyyything) and I just kinda gave up on it. Thinking of starting again, just because I heard the Sublime version of the Bob Marley song featured in the game last night o.O Yeaaaah.

I thought they were remaking the vastly underrated movie Narc, starring Ray Liotta. Then I'd be so sad....

It wasn't bad. One of the much better budget games in that era of gaming.

I remember it not going to be a budget title at all until they realized that it wasn't worth $50, either. It definitely wasn't a bad game. Without a doubt, my favorite part was running up to and spearing random people on the street, pounding their face in and then planting crack on them.
"..........just sprinkle some crack on him, he'll be all right."

I was thinking of getting it, as long as the controls aren't bad. Are they?

I was thinking of getting it, as long as the controls aren't bad. Are they? They're not terrible by any means. I never had any real issues control wise. My fondest memory from this game was diving into a room within a drug lab, action movie style, M16 or some kind of assault rifle drawn, slow motion in effect, and wasting...EVERY...LAST...PERSON in the room before I hit the ground. I was like ;D

Didn't it have the original on the disc? I used to love that in the arcades, especially the level where you drove around, crashing into Angel Dust freaks.

Never played the new game but I loved the old one despite the fact it was hard, unfair and some of the baddies would throw heroin needles at you.
